Affectionately known as "The Barn", our Preserve Center is open to members of The Preserve Association for private events.
The nickname comes from the history of the Preserve Center–which was once a hay barn and stable but it was remodeled in 1974 as a community center. The upstairs area is sized for up to 80 guests, and has a dance floor area with plenty of room for banquet tables.
Reservations are made by calling The Preserve office at 952-941-8400 to check on availability.
After that, it's as simple as filling out an application and making a deposit for your event.
Only Preserve property owners may sponsor non-member events.

Neill Lake is the heart of the property at the Preserve. The Lake was originally a natural lake site, but it was drained around 1926 to clear it for a cattle pasture. The newer 38-acre lake was restored in 1972 and is slightly smaller than the original. The Preserve includes 1693 residential units, but it also includes many animals who call it home. Our policies regarding fences keep the Preserve feeling of natural woodlands and wetlands for the people and the animals that call the Preserve home. Check our some of our favorite photos taken by Preserve residents.

There are 187 acres of common properties, including 5 miles of walking paths and trails that wind through lovely neighborhoods and natural settings. Take a sunrise run around Neill Lake, enjoy a picnic at one of the 5 playgrounds, or relax on one of the benches around the lake and watch the wood ducks and green herons play.
This is the place where we tell you all about our new projects, and improvements that are in the works here at the Preserve.
